Vấn đề giải thưởng ngàn năm Navier–Stokes

Hệ phương trình Navier-Stokes nổi tiếng dùng để mô tả sự vận động của chất lỏng, nhưng bản chất toán học của chúng vẫn là một ẩn số lớn. Viện Toán học Clay từng trao giải thưởng trị giá 1 triệu USD cho ai chứng minh được sự tồn tại và sự liền mạch của các nghiệm trong mặt bằng ba chiều, nhưng đến nay giải thưởng này vẫn chưa ai nhận được.
