An anonymous AI model called Ox Alpha is now available for free across OpenRouter, Venice, and Cline, offering multimodal capabilities and a 1 million token context window. The stealth release scored 80% on a DeepSWE coding subset, outperforming rivals Fable at 65%, GLM-5.3 at 62%, and Sol at 52%. The model handles text, image, and video inputs and is designed for production use and agentic work.

The rollout marks the fifth anonymous model drop in six months, a pattern previously associated with Chinese laboratories including Zhipu, Xiaomi, Ant, and Meituan. Among the entities providing access is the Nous Portal, which claims it can handle 1 quadrillion tokens per day for the model.
