A model is being developed where companies lease critical minerals instead of selling them, keeping materials in use beyond end-of-life and securing supply. In partnership with the Carbon Trust, the MaaS model was tested with miners, manufacturers, recyclers, and investors, turning lease payments into tradeable assets.
