SpaceX Adds 420,000 Nvidia GB300 GPUs Across Two New Supercomputer Clusters

SpaceX is building two new AI compute facilities, Gun Range and Spam, which will add approximately 420,000 Nvidia GB300 GPUs to its infrastructure. Gun Range is scheduled to be operational by the end of November and Spam in December, with the total cost of the additional hardware estimated at more than $35 billion. Gun Range will be used for AI training and will feature 800 gig nics to match the 220,000 GB300 setup at existing sites Macroharder and Minihard, while the Spam facility will host about 200,000 GB300s configured for inference.
