Nvidia Launches AI Tools to Speed Chip Workflows by 50x

Synopsys, KLA and Applied Materials are integrating new artificial intelligence into their chip design and fabrication processes. Nvidia's CUDA-X tools target semiconductor design, manufacturing and factory automation, with the company reporting speed improvements of up to 50x in selected workflows. Other early adopters of the software include Cadence and Lam Research.
